Human remains found in the McGuireville area north of Rimrock on New Year’s Day have been identified as a missing man from West Covina, California. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area at around 1:30 p.m. Deputies hiked into the area and confirmed human remains were found in an advanced state of decay at the bottom of a sandy wash. The remains were taken out of the area on Saturday and sent to the Yavapai County Medical Examiner’s Office. The remains have been identified as 31-year-old Shane Rollman.
