Human Remains Found At A Ranch House After An Explosion And Fire Near Seligman Saturday

Coconino County Sheriff’s investigators are looking into the discovery of human remains after an explosion and fire at a ranch near Seligman last weekend. Deputies responded to an area north of Seligman on the Boquillas Ranch at around 3 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived they saw a camp house on fire and a ranch staff member’s vehicle was parked near a porch. Officials say the remains were found in the house. The causes of death and the fire remain under investigation. The remains were taken to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s office for identification.
