Holbrook Woman Arrested After Firing Shots Into An Occupied Home

A Holbrook woman has been arrested after she opened fire into an occupied home Wednesday. Navajo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the house, and when they arrived the suspect had left the scene. Soon after, deputies stopped a vehicle that matched the description of the one driven by the suspect and they arrested 49-year-old Shawna Neseth. Authorities say she came to the house intoxicated and wanted to come inside to get her belongings. The victim refused to let her in and that’s when she pulled out a gun and fired three shots at the door, narrowly missing the victim. No one was injured. Neseth was booked on three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, disorderly conduct involving a weapon with domestic violence and three counts of firing a weapon into an occupied structure.
