A 17-year-old girl was found alive Tuesday morning after she had been missing for six days in the area of Christmas Tree and Mount Elden in Flagstaff. Police say the girl ran away from home last Wednesday and was located by hikers at around 4:31 a.m. on Mount Elden. Members of the Coconino County Search and Rescue Team responded to the area and assisted in the rescue. The girl appeared to be extremely dehydrated and malnourished and was taken to Flagstaff Medical Center in stable condition. Police say there doesn’t appear to be any suspicious or criminal activity involved in the case. After she was treated, the girl was returned to her family.
