The gun seized from the brother of the man charged in connection with the death of a New Mexico woman back in January has been linked to the prime suspect. Court documents say 21-year-old Airman Mark Gooch kidnapped 27-year-old Sasha Krause on January 18th or 19th and took her to an area near Flagstaff at around February 21st. Gooch allegedly used a firearm to kill her and left her near Sunset Crater north of Flagstaff, where she was found by a camper. Krause was reported missing from her Mennonite community in Farmington on January 18th. A bullet was taken from Krause and sent to the DPS crime lab. Results from the test indicate the bullet came from Gooch’s gun. He was arrested at Luke Air Force Base earlier this year in connection with Krauses disappearance and death. Gooch has been charged with first degree murder, kidnapping and theft.
