Grand Canyon National Park To Begin Shuttle Service From Tusayan May 28th

The Grand Canyon National Park Service will be offering a shuttle service between the Grand Canyon National Park Visitor Center and the town of Tusayan beginning May 28th. The summer is a very busy time of year for the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, with long wait times and full-capacity parking lots. Riding the new shuttle service will help visitors avoid lines and reduce vehicle congestion in the park. In order to ride the shuttle, visitors must have a valid park pass, which can be purchased at the IMAX, Canyon Plaza Resort, Red Feather Lodge, Westwind Air Service, or online at Recreation.Gov/SitePass/74282. Those riding the shuttle may park near the Best Western Premier Inn, Grand Hotel, Big E Steakhouse, IMAX, or the park-and-ride lot near the roundabout on the north end of town. The Tusayan shuttle route will run every 20 minutes from May 28th until September 9th with the first bus leaving Tusayan at 8 a.m. and the last bus leaving the Grand Canyon Visitor Center at 9:30 p.m.
