The average price of gas in Arizona is up a cent this week. Triple-A Arizona says the average price at the pump is $3.13 a gallon. Spokesman Aldo Vazquez says gas prices are steady, but could rise toward the end of August. He says “we’re seeing the price of crude oil still is kind of fluctuating, but still remaining pretty high, even though we are seeing OPEC increasing production later on this month.” He adds, “the demand is still pretty high and supply is pretty low so we only anticipate the gas prices will remain relatively high for the rest of this month.” In Flagstaff, the average price of gas was unchanged from last week. Prices remain at $3.44 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $3.25 a gallon and lower. In Prescott, the average price of gas fell a cent on average this week to $3.15 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $3.05 and lower.
