Gas prices in Arizona are unchanged this week from last week. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of gas stayed at $3.12 a gallon. Spokesman Aldo Vazquez says it’s hard to say at this point if prices are going to go up or done. He says “part of the unknown is due to the fluctuating crude oil prices.” Vazquez adds, “for pump prices to push less expensive OPEC needs to follow through with their production increases, crude oil will need to sell consistently at lower prices and the market will need to adjust to the potential resurgence of COVID cases.” In Flagstaff, the average price of gas was up a cent-and-a-half to $3.44 a gallon. However, some stations are selling gas for $3.29 and lower. In Prescott, gas was up a cent from last week to $3.15 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $2.99 and lower.
