Gas prices spiked across Arizona this week. Triple-A Arizona says the average price in the state is $3.14 a gallon, which is up nearly nine-cents a gallon from last week. Triple-A spokesman Aldo Vazquez says the rise in prices isn’t a surprise. He says “we forecasted gas prices would increase, this month as we got closer to Memorial Day weekend.” He adds, “this was long before the news of the cyberattack came to light in the southeast.” In Flagstaff, the average price of gas is $3.25 a gallon, which is up over five-cents a gallon from a week ago. Some stations in Flagstaff are selling gas for $3.09 and lower. In Prescott, gas is up over four-cents a gallon from last week to $3.10 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $3.05 and lower.
