Gas prices in Arizona continue to rise this week. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of gas rose just over two-cents a gallon this week, on average, to $2.43 a gallon. In Flagstaff, gas was up about a half-cent a gallon from last week to $2.52 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $2.49 and lower. In Prescott, the average price of gas was up over three-cents a gallon this week to $2.48 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $2.39 and lower. Officials say the reason for the rise is the continued high price of crude oil, even though the price is leveling off, even as demand remains low.
