Gas prices in Arizona remain stable this week. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of gas in the state is unchanged from last week, staying at $2.21 a gallon. In Flagstaff gas prices are down three-cents from last week on average to $2.33 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $2.29 a gallon and lower. In Prescott, gas prices are down nearly a cent to $2.25 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $2.09 and lower. Officials say gas prices were projected to be lower by now, but a steep rise in oil prices and an increase in production from OPEC nations have put a damper on the drop.
