Gas Prices Heading Down Due To Oil Prices Dropping Over COVID-19 Concerns And The Middle East

The average price at the pump continues to head lower as the price of oil falls. Triple-A Arizona says gas was $2.62 on average this week in the state, which is down nearly over seven-cents a gallon from last week. In Flagstaff, the average price of gas is $2.65 a gallon, which is down nearly three-cents a gallon from last week. Some stations are selling gas for $2.53 a gallon and lower. In Prescott, the average price of gas is $2.75 a gallon, which is down nearly four-cents a gallon on average from last week. Stations are selling gas for $2.73 a gallon and lower. Officials say the price drops are due to current oil prices and middle east oil purchases between Saudi Arabia and Russia.
