For the first time in weeks, gas prices are down this week across Arizona. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of gas is down nearly a cent to $3.10 a gallon. Spokesman Aldo Vazquez says “a dip in demand, along with a simultaneous increase in supply and refinery utilization, has contributed to slower movements in gas price increases.” In Flagstaff, gas prices are up a cent-and-a-half from last week to $3.17 a gallon. In Prescott, gas is up just three-tenths of a cent this week to $3.12 a gallon on average. Gas stations in both cities are selling gas for $2.99 a gallon and less.
