Arizona Game and Fish is still seeking information hoping it leads to those responsible for contaminating a water catchment with diesel fuel or gasoline northeast of Flagstaff. Officials say someone poured fuel into Young’s Canyon Trick Tank about two miles east of the Winona Exit off Interstate 40 earlier this month. Evidence at the scene suggests someone may have taken down fencing to gain access to the tank and pour the fuel in. The Arizona Elk Society has offered a $25-hundred dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Don McDowell Outdoors has offered an additional $1,000 to the reward making it $35-hundred dollars total. If anyone has information, call the Game and Fish vandalism hotline at 1-800-826-3257.
