FUSD Rolls Out New Anonymous Reporting System For Students

The Flagstaff Unified School District has launched an anonymous reporting tool for students, families and the community to report concerns to school site administration. Available at all school sites is “Annoymous Alerts,” which allows users to submit reports to appropriate school authorities via an encrypted messaging system that protects the reporter’s identity. Message topics for submission may include bullying, cyber-bullying, family difficulties, self-harm, drug and alcohol abuse, depression, sexual harassment and more. Reports will be monitored from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. District officials say if something disturbing or life threatening occurs at other times, to call 911.
