Friends And Family To Say Goodbye To A Flagstaff Soldier Friday

Friends and family will say goodbye to a Flagstaff soldier Friday. Shane Davison passed away back on October 13th. He graduated from Flagstaff High School and began his military service in 2011 and served with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team 25th Infantry in Hawaii where he was awarded the “Army Achievement Medal” for outstanding service as a combat medic, as well as many other awards he received during his enlistment. Davison was honorably discharged in 2015 and continued his service in the U.S. Army Reserve in a “Special Forces Reserve Unit.” He attended Coconino Community College and received his associate’s degree and enrolled at NAU in 2017. His burial will take place Friday at Flagstaff Citizens Cemetery in the veterans section at 11 a.m. at 13-hundred San Francisco Street. Davison was 32-years-old.
