Freeze Warning In Effect For Most Of Northern Arizona

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for most of Northern Arizona below 5,000-feet until 8 a.m. Monday. Forecasters are calling for temperatures down to the mid-20s overnight. If you have sensitive vegetation outdoors or have unprotected outdoor plumbing, there could be damage due to lower temperatures. Take steps to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
