Four Day Snow Event Brought Feet Of Snow To Northern Arizona

Snowfall totals are in from the four-day snow event that started Saturday night and lasted until Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, Arizona Snowbowl was the big winner at 61 inches of snow from the event. Kachina Village was second with 47 inches of snow, followed by Parks with 43-and-a-half, Bellemont with 42 inches the North Rim with 39 and the Flagstaff Airport with 36.9 inches of snow. Fort Valley received nearly 36 inches of snow, University Heights got just over 33 inches, downtown Flagstaff picked up 27 inches, along with Williams, and Doney Park received nearly 21 inches of snow. An additional three-to-five inches of snow is expected in the Flagstaff area tonight and into tomorrow as another storm blows through the area.
