A small fire broke out near the Flagstaff Airport Wednesday night. Forest Service officials say the Disc Fire started at around 6:30 p.m. just south of the airport near Old Munds Highway. Officials say the fire grew to about three acres, but didn’t move beyond that point. The area could still be smoldering in spots, but it has been contained. Officials say the Disc Fire was human-caused, but the specific cause is under investigation.
