A Flood Advisory is in effect for the Greater Flagstaff Area until 11 a.m. Thursday. The advisory covers areas along Schultz Creek and the Rio de Flag. It also includes Interstate 40 for five miles west of Flagstaff, two miles of West Route 66 heading toward I-40, Fort Valley, Cheshire and Country Club. The National Weather Service says to expect continued snowmelt in the flood prone areas today, with water possibly flowing over roadways in some areas. If you have to travel in these areas today, use caution.
