Flash Flood Watch In Effect Through Noon, Winter Weather Advisory Until 7 P.M.

A Flash Flood Watch and Winter Weather Advisory remain in effect as the first winter storm moves through Northern Arizona. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until noon for Yavapai County, including Prescott, Sedona and Cottonwood, as well as Oak Creek and Sycamore canyons. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. for cities including Flagstaff, Williams and the Grand Canyon. Forecasters say expect an additional 4-8 inches of snow today in Flagstaff and Williams and one-to-three inches in Doney Park and the Grand Canyon. Showers will taper off Friday morning and we will have sunny skies for the weekend before the next, weaker storm comes into the area on Monday.
