Flagstaff’s T-Gen North Approved To Distribute Coronavirus Test Kits

Researchers at Translational Genomics Research Institute North in Flagstaff have developed a test for COVID-19 and have been cleared to distribute it. T-Gen North received approval from the CDC last week and has begun testing about 200 samples a day, with the possibility of around one-thousand samples a day. After receiving a test sample, T-Gen can then determine the results in a matter of hours. Increased testing means more information about the coronavirus and its potential spread.
