The Orpheum Theater and Theatrikos in Flagstaff will begin to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to attend a concert or performance in their venues in September. The Flagstaff venues join others around the state that will launch the requirements starting September 20th. The theater recently announced they will require patrons wear a mask, staring Sunday, August 29th. The Orpheum says they will continue to monitor local and national health and industry trends and conditions and will re-evaluate their policy accordingly. Theater officials add, “If you are uncomfortable following these guidelines and feel you need a refund we will honor that request, but also ask that you consider using your ticket purchase as a donation to support the recovery of the theater as we continue to wait for federal assistance and as we work towards rebuilding the music industry in Northern Arizona, so that you may enjoy shows in the future.” For more information, log onto orpheumflagstaff.com.
