Flagstaff’s transit service will be receiving six-million dollars for capital costs associated with the Downtown Connection Center construction project. Mountain Line is constructing the new facility on its current Phoenix Avenue site. The DCC is slated to break ground later this year and will be built to accommodate current and future service levels, provide customer service amenities, and enable partnership opportunities. The money will come from the state budget that was passed and signed into law back on June 28th. This is the first time the agency has received transit funding from the state.
