Flagstaff’s Mountain Line bus service is partnering with the Flagstaff Family Food Center to deliver food to vulnerable and homebound residents. Mountain Line’s paratransit vans will be used in the deliveries. Center workers will deliver food Monday through Saturday and Mountain Line is helping with delivery efforts two-to-three times a week as needed. The van is filled with food boxes, produce boxes, meat, eggs, bags of apples and oranges and other items. The food will then be delivered to the person’s front door, then workers will give a wave to the family and then they will drive on to the next home. To use the service, call the Flagstaff Family Food Center at (928) 526-2211 and set up a delivery time.
