A missing Flagstaff woman has been found safe and has returned home. Flagstaff Police had been looking for 66-year-old Norma Cravens, who left her home on West Adirondack Avenue at around 2 p.m. Sunday to go for a walk in the woods and hadn’t returned. Authorities say the walk is typical for Norma, but she had been gone for an extended period of time and her family became concerned and started looking for her. A DPS helicopter, along with police and members of Coconino County Search and Rescue, searched the area overnight. Then at around 11 a.m. Norma was located by an alert citizen off Hidden Hallow Road off of West Route 66. Police Sergeant Odis Brockman says a person driving saw Norma and stopped to see if she was okay. He says they asked her “are you Norma and she said “Yes I’m Norma.” Brockman says they told her “hey people are out looking for you” and drove her back to her house and seems to be in excellent condition.” Brockman thanks the citizens who spread the word about her disappearance, as well the officers and agencies that helped in last night’s search.
