Flagstaff Police Arrest A Man Spotted On A Roof With A Weapon Tuesday Night

Flagstaff Police responded to a report of a man on a rooftop in downtown Flagstaff Tuesday night with a gun. When officers arrived, in the area of Benton and South San Francisco at around 11:07 p.m., they located the man. He got up from where he was and moved into the darkness. Officers noticed he had a rifle, tucked under his arm. Officers quickly shut down the area and evacuated homes and businesses. They searched the rooftop and found the man laying behind an air conditioning unit where he was hiding. He was told to move away from behind the unit and away from the weapon. Scott Warren was taken into custody. Investigators inspected the weapon and it appeared to be a very realistic air rifle with a scope and a suppressor attached. When Warren was taken off the roof and into custody, the scene was cleared. Detectives say the incident began as a domestic situation between Warren and his sister, where he threatened her life and also her business, which is located in the same area where Warren was found on the roof.
