Flagstaff Police have arrested a man in connection with several incidents where tires were slashed in Flagstaff, and in connection with recent attacks on the Mount Elden Trails. On Monday, police arrested 34-year-old Christopher Sutter for criminal damage in connection with the tire slashing incidents. During attempts to locate Sutter, a victim in the aggravated assault and theft case called detectives and told them he looked like the same guy who attacked her on the trails behind the Shadow Mountain area back on August 15th. The detectives in both cases assembled a photo lineup of the man arrested for slashing tires and multiple victims in the trail assaults. They identified him as the same person. Sutter has now also been charged with aggravated assault and theft.
