Flagstaff, NAU Police Investigating Recent Crimes Involving Tagging And Criminal Damage

Flagstaff Police, along with NAU Police, are looking into recent crimes, which includes criminal damage from graffiti tagging. NAU Police arrested 23-year-old Andrew Jenks for criminal damage on the NAU campus and to campus property. He was also arrested by Flagstaff Police for two other incidents. He’s been booked on one count of criminal damage that took place in the 100 block of West Route 66 and he was booked in connection with the defacing and vandalism at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church that happened earlier this week. Officials say there is no evidence during the course of the investigation that ties the suspects to recent protests in the Flagstaff area. If anyone sees anyone committing a crime, such as what happened in these incidents, say something and call police.
