Flagstaff Medical Center was recently named as the second-best hospital in Arizona, according to a recent report. “U.S. News and World Report” ranked FMC as the best regional hospital and the second best in the state. The hospital received high marks on nurse staffing, heart treatment and hip and knee replacement surgeries. FMC was second only to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. Last year the hospital was ranked fourth and fifth in 2017. FMC received the highest rating possible from the report in nine categories.
