Flagstaff Man Killed After Being Run Over In A Restaurant Drive-Thru Wednesday Morning

A Flagstaff man was killed Wednesday morning in East Flagstaff. Police say 53-year-old Richard Ratcliff was at the Riliberto’s Restaurant in the 36-hundred block of East Route 66 at around 12:46 a.m. Authorities say Ratcliff left a sidewalk near the drive-thru window and walked into a truck as it drove forward. A witness says the Ratcliff fell and slid under the truck, at which time he was run over. He was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and is not facing any charges. The incident remains under investigation.
