Flagstaff High School Hires Former Assistant Sean Manning As Head Football Coach

Flagstaff High School has hired a new head football head coach and assistant coach. The school announced Tuesday they have hired Sean Manning as the varsity head coach and Kevin Aguas as the associate head coach. Manning has coached student athletes for the past 18 years in high school and youth programs in the Flagstaff area, while serving in the military, and as a police sergeant at Northern Arizona University. At Flag High he has been the freshman defensive coordinator, JV defensive and special teams coach, JV head coach and varsity defensive coordinator. Aguas joins the varsity program having worked with Coach Manning. Manning replaces Todd Hanley, who left the program after two seasons and has taken over the football program at Tempe High School. The hiring of both coaches will be considered at the FUSD Governing Board meeting on March 30th.
