Flagstaff and Summit Fire and Medical crews responded to a two-vehicle accident that resulted in a semi-truck fire early Friday morning on eastbound Interstate-40 near the Cosnino Exit. When the first fire crews arrived just after midnight, they found both the semi-truck and passenger car, fully-engulfed in flames. Officials say all of the people involved in the accident were able to safely get out of the vehicles and there were no injuries. More than 12 firefighters were used to control the fire. The semi-truck was carrying a full trailer of spinach. The incident closed eastbound I-40 at Country Club Drive while crews cleaned up the accident.
