Flagstaff Fire Crews Tended To A House Fire Wednesday In East Flagstaff

Flagstaff Fire crews were called to the Smokerise neighborhood of east Flagstaff Wednesday on a call of a house fire. Crews arrived at the house in the 59-hundred block of Smokerise at around 4:40 p.m. to find a fire actively burning in the attic in rear of the home with visible flames and heavy smoke. The family inside the home was able to get out safely. Crews were able to put out the fire and spent about two hours at the home to make sure the house was safe and there were no other threats to the homeowner’s belongings. There were no injuries and there’s no word on what caused the fire.
