Flagstaff Fire crews were called to a house fire early Thursday morning in the Cherry Hill neighborhood. Crews were called to the area at around 3 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, the structure was fully engulfed in flames. Officials quickly elevated the fire to first alarm. The house was in the rough framing stage of construction when it caught fire. The house fire did spread into nearby forest. Other crews on scene extinguished the several small wildfires that ignited. Around 18 firefighters worked nearly four hours at the scene to make sure the fire was safely extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
