The Flagstaff City Council will discuss the Canyon del Rio project and vote on possible adoption tonight, as well as discuss electric bicycles. Council will consider a resolution that would regulate the use of electric bikes in Flagstaff. The resolution would indicate where the bikes and electric scooters are allowed and prohibited. Also, it would make it unlawful to operate them under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The Canyon del Rio project passed two weeks ago, but with changes. The development would be home to 180 attached residential units, 670 apartment units and commercial space at the 32-hundred block of East Butler Avenue, which is the corner of Butler and Fourth Street. Both issues will be taken up at the 6 p.m. meeting at City Hall. If you can’t get to the meeting, it will be shown on the city’s website.
