Around 100 people are being forced from their apartments after a change of ownership at the Flagstaff Village Apartments. The complex is located behind the Circle K off of Milton Road. Residents tell KAFF News they received two emails, one from “Levitan Investment Properties” stating that the complex was purchased by MDL Flagstaff Owners from Delaware. The other came from Park7 Management that said residents had until September 30th to vacate the property. Some residents were excluded until December. The City of Flagstaff said Wednesday they have worked with the management group and got all residents an extension until December 31st. They must contact Park7 to receive the extension. One of the emails told residents the new owners have “submitted plans for redevelopment of the property that have been approved by the City of Flagstaff.” New plans for the property have indeed been approved, according to city documents. The complex will be demolished and Park Place Flagstaff will be built at the site. The complex is mixed use apartment complex that will house 200 units. According to documents, the site plan was approved in March of 2020, but it was extended to March of 2022. The people who currently live at the apartments are a mix of single people, couples and families, some with pets.
