Candidates for Flagstaff City Manager have been narrowed to four and the public is invited to meet the candidates. The city council received 51 applications for the position. The final candidates are Steve Barwick, who was the City Manager in Aspen, Colorado and has 38 years experience in public service. Andrew Bertelsen, who has 21 years of public service and is the current Public Works Director for the City of Flagstaff. Greg Clifton, who has 25 years in public service in Colorado and Clifford Moore, who is the current City Manager in Yakima, Washington and has 28 years of public service. The meet and greet with the candidates will be held next Wednesday from five until six p.m. at the Murdoch Center at 203 East Brannen Avenue in Flagstaff. Candidates will also be invited to present on the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2030 next Wednesday morning in council chambers.
