Flagstaff Airport Picked Up 30 Inches Of Snow Since Saturday Night

Snowfall totals are coming in from storm number two. Just south of Flagstaff Mall saw eight-and-a-half inches of new snow, downtown Flagstaff saw eight inches, Kachina Village received seven inches of new snow, Doney Park and Winona each saw about six inches of new snow. As for storm totals, National Weather Service Meterologist Jeremy Mazone was on The Jeff Kennedy Show on THe Legend 935/AM 930 Tuesday morning and says preliminary totals have been impressive. He says their office in Bellemont, “has gotten over three feet of snow since late Saturday night.” Mazone adds, “the Flagstaff Airport has got exactly 30 inches in that timeframe as well.” He says another storm is due in Thursday and Friday, but snowfall amounts are expected to be light in the Flagstaff area, but will bring with it cold temperatures.
