If you are flying out of Flagstaff commercially for the Fourth of July weekend, the City of Flagstaff has some tips to make the trip a little easier. Flagstaff Pulliam Airport officials reminds travelers to arrive at the airport about 90 minutes before your flight. Airport director Barney Helmick says the reason is, “in order for the airlines to run required reports regarding the aricraft’s weight, airlines are unable to accept baggage less than 45 minutes before departure, so it’s important for travelers to arrive with plenty of time before takeoff.” Parking remains free and the overflow parking lot is available for travelers as well. Officials ask you park in a designated space and not on landscaping or a curb.
