A Red Flag Warning is in effect for all of Northern Arizona through 11 p.m. Sunday. A wind advisory will also be in effect for the same areas during the warning period. Forecasters say winds will be between 25-to-35 miles-per-hour with gusts 50-to-60 miles-per-hour at times. Areas that will be in the warning area are Coconino, Yavapai, Navajo and Apache counties, which includes: Flagstaff, Prescott, the Verde Valley, Grand Canyon, Show Low, and Navajo and Hopi Nations. Just one spark can start and spread a fire quickly in these conditions. If you are traveling and pulling a trailer, make sure the chains are off the highway and if you smoke, do not toss a cigarette out of the window. If you see smoke, call 9-1-1.
