Fire crews from the Prescott and Central Arizona fire departments responded to a call of a semi-truck rollover on Contreras Road near Skull Valley. The incident happened at around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. When crews arrived they found the fuel tanker on its side with the driver already getting out of the cab. The driver reportedly moved to the side of the road to make room for an oncoming vehicle when the tanker hit soft dirt and rolled onto its side. The driver was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The tanker was carrying about two-thousand gallons of fuel, but didn’t leak in the accident. It took about three hours to clear the scene.
