Fire Crews Tend To A Garage Fire Sunday In Williamson Valley

Central Arizona Fire and Medical and Williamson Valley fire crews responded to a structure fire Sunday. When crews arrived in the 13-thousand block of North Iron Hawk Drive in the Inscription Canyon subdivision in Williamson Valley at around 6:30 p.m. they found a detached garage fully engulfed in flames. There were several nearby exposures that included the main residence, trailers, vehicles and heavy equipment. The fire burned into the nearby grass, brush and trees. Firefighters kept the fire from spreading onto neighboring properties and put a stop to the blaze. The homeowners were at home at the time and called 911 as soon as they saw the garage on fire. No one was injured and the fire is under investigation.
