Firefighters continue to make progress on the Sour Fire burning in Yavapai County, east of Dewey. Prescott National Forest officials say the fire has burned 12-hundred acres and is 20-percent contained. The fire is burning about four miles west of Interstate-17, north of Highway 169 and is just east of Cherry Creek Road. Fire officials say the fire has not grown and is just burning fuels within the perimeter. They hope rainy weather in the area this week will fully contain the blaze. The fire poses no threat to life or property. Officials say it was human caused and is under investigation.
