With Spring Break nearly here, The FBI office in Phoenix wants to remind the public to travel safely while on vacation. Traveling out of the country comes with extra dangers including crime, theft, fraud, and kidnapping. Always check travel advisories in your travel destination. The system was created to alert U.S. citizens in a timely manner of any security threats abroad. The FBI reminds travelers to be aware of their surroundings, only use authorized taxis and shuttles, avoid traveling alone, and create points of contact with family or friends in case of an emergency.
