Entry Into National Parks Will Be Free This Saturday As Part Of National Public Lands Day

Read More News at >>

Entries into the country’s national parks will be waived this Saturday. The Forest Service says the gesture is part of National Public Lands Day, which encourages people to get out and utilize our national forests, lakes and trails. So if you’ve been thinking about checking out the Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater or Walnut Canyon, you can do it Saturday for free. Be aware that if you plan to camp in the national parks, there will still be a fee for that and other services. National Public Lands Day commemorates the connection between people and the outdoors and also promotes environmental conservation.
