Embry Riddle University Hires Dr. Anette Karlsson As Its New Chancellor

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott has a new chancellor. The school announced Wednesday they have hired Dr. Anette Karlsson, who comes to the school with an impressive background. Karlsson comes from Cleveland State University, where she was a professor and dean of that school’s college of engineering. Her research interests focus on the thermos-mechanical properties of advanced materials with an emphasis on the durability of materials used in clean energy production. She will succeed Dr. Frank Ayers and Dr. Rhonda Capron, who served as interim chancellor. Karlsson will begin her position on August 1st.
