There’s been another mass shooting, this time in Indianapolis. Police say nine people are dead, including the shooter, and several others are injured after a gunman went into a FedEx package handling facility near the Indianapolis International Airport and opened fire overnight. Police say soon after the incident, the shooter apparently took his own life. The shooter has been identified as a 19-year-old former FedEx employee who was last employed by the company in 2020. Cook says, “you have to look at your own life and say, look at the positive things in your own world and you have to keep going, you have to look for a way to support each other. Whether it’s your neighbor, the guy down the street, or a family member, that’s where you have to start.” A worker at the facility at the time of the shooting says the gunman came in, opened fire, then went outside got another gun from a vehicle, went back inside and opened fire again. Around 100 people were working in the building at the time of the shooting. The FBI is assisting Indianapolis Police in the investigation.
