A woman has been arrested after she collided with a Prescott Valley Police officer Tuesday night. Officials say 65-year-old Sandra Lynn Naugle was traveling westbound on Spouse Drive at North Miner Road at around 7:10 p.m., when she drifted into the eastbound lane into the path of an oncoming police vehicle. The officer quickly swerved to avoid being struck head-on, but was hit on the front passenger side of the car, coming to a rest in a drainage ditch. The officer was able to drive out of the ditch and stop the other car. Naugle was placed into custody and charged with DUI, two counts of felony endangerment, aggravated assault on a peace officer and reckless driving. The officer was uninjured.
