Coconino County Sheriff’s officials are looking for information into a discovery of human remains north of Baderville earlier this month. Detectives responded to the area along Highway 180 back on October 3rd, after a hunter reported finding suspicious bones, possible human remains. Detectives confirmed they were human and opened up a homicide investigation. A preliminary autopsy indicates the unidentified person is a male about five-foot-ten to six-feet-one inch tall with a non-muscular build, possibly 35-to-55 years of age. The victim was wearing a t-shirt, dark colored shorts with a black leather belt that had a black nylon utility pouch on it and sandals.
